When is the right age to start?
Most children are ready for structured art classes from around age 4, and can keep learning right through their teens. Classes are grouped by age and adapted to each child’s level, so a first-timer and a more experienced young artist both feel challenged and supported.
What happens in a first art class?
A first class is relaxed and welcoming. Your child joins a small group, meets the teacher, and starts a guided project right away — there’s no test and no pressure. Most children finish or make real progress on an artwork the very first day, and take their creativity home with them. No prior experience is required for any class, including digital art.
What do we need to bring?
Very little — we provide what your child needs to create:
- All art materials and supplies are included.
- For digital art, iPads and Apple Pencils with Procreate are provided in class.
- Dress in comfortable clothes that can handle a little paint.
- A water bottle is handy, especially for longer sessions.
How often should my child attend?
A weekly class is plenty for steady progress. Children who want to advance faster can attend up to two classes per week. Classes run Monday through Sunday for flexibility, and make-up classes are available during an active membership when life gets busy.
How much do classes cost?
We offer flexible memberships so you can choose what fits your family. Starting rates (plus HST):
- Drawing & Painting — from $25.99/week
- Digital Art (iPad + Procreate provided) — from $37.80/week
- Combo (traditional + digital) — from $46.99/week
- Private lessons & portfolio prep — $65/hour
